Urpop is back

In Stein, the local festival Urpop has been organized on Ascension Day for years. It is a free pop festival that offers a stage to various bands from the region. In 2022, the first edition took place after 2 years of Corona break.

That was celebrated with a U2 cover band called ‘L.A. Vation’ as headliner.

For this special edition I designed a festival poster. Being together was central to its design. After 2 years of corona, everyone is tired of being stuck inside alone or with family. I have depicted the opposite of that loneliness with a hot air balloon, which represents the open world and the opportunity that Urpop offers to escape from the exertion of the day. Urpop also stands for being who you are, without discrimination and without racism.
