This past summer, my fellow students and I had the opportunity to exhibit our work from the previous semester. The topic was facades. Each of us chose a building in Eindhoven and began researching its architecture, surroundings, and the opinions of the local community. Based on all this information, we started developing a plan for potential improvements.

By presenting our plans to the building's current owners and residents, we engaged in conversations to gather their feedback. Incorporating all the different inputs, we reached a final result. Each of us created a model (maquette) representing our vision of how the building or neighborhood could be improved. Below, you can see photos of the exhibition and my final model.

This project not only allowed us to apply our research and design skills but also taught us the importance of community engagement in the process of urban improvement.
